A palette large enough to hold considerable amounts of liquid paint would be rather unwieldy. Our palettes are used by many textile workers and silk screen printers. They mix small amounts of colour in the palette wells until the desired result is reached, then much larger amounts of the same colours are mixed in separate containers. I would suggest that this would be the ideal approach to also use with watercolours. You could then mix it by the bucket-load if you wished.
