I wanted to venture into colour use, but was hesitant due to my lack of colour mixing knowledge. I never seemed to achieve the colour or effect I was looking for.  I gradually introduced colour into my work.  Like the painting with the Jockey on the left.

My two pictures on the right ( no black was used) were painted after learning the art of colour mixing from Michael Wilcox's book 'Blue and Yellow don't make Green'.
