In one of your books you say that acrylic paints should not be intermixed between manufacturers. I would like to buy your acrylic paints but where would I buy the mediums needed for acrylics - gesso, varnish, gels etc. - since you do not offer these items?

As the make up of an acrylic paint is rather complex, problems can occur when various brands are intermixed. Sometimes the paint becomes "stringy" and gummy during mixing, at others it can lead to damage to the paint surface later.

Additives such as those you mention are far less complex and you can use any reputable make with our acrylics. Actually, our research into this area is almost complete and we expect to be able to offer our own additives in the near future.
